Skiing in Cortina during Olympic Games
Slopes not affected by competitions and training sessions will remain regularly open to the public.
In detail:
From January, 12th
Olympic preparation period
A gradual closure will apply only to the Olympia delle Tofane and Labirinti slopes to allow for competition set-up. All other slopes within the ski area will remain fully open and accessible.
From January, 26th to March, 15th (inclusive)
Games time
With the entry into force of the Olympic security perimeter, the lifts and slopes of the Tofane ski area served by the following facilities will not be accessible to the public:
Socrepes gondola
Baby Socrepes chairlift
Tofana Express chairlift
Piè Tofana / Duca d’Aosta chairlift
Duca d’Aosta / Pomedes chairlift
Col Drusciè gondola
All Ra Valles lifts and slopes
During this time the following lifts will always be open and accessible:
Olympia chairlift (Pocol)
Cortina Skyline gondola
Falzarego Ski area (5 Torri, Lagazuoi , and Col Gallina)
Faloria / Cristallo Ski area
Misurina Ski area
San Vito di Cadore Ski area
Auronzo di Cadore Ski area
